Death of American Freedom

New Patriot Act Provision Creates Tighter Barrier to Officials at Public Events Tuesday, January 31, 2006 By Kelley Beaucar Vlahos WASHINGTON — A new provision tucked into the Patriot Act bill now before Congress would allow authorities to haul demonstrators at any "special event of national significance" away to jail on felony charges if they are caught breaching a security perimeter…. “…would extend the authority of the Secret Service to allow agents to arrest people who willingly or knowingly enter a restricted area at an event, even if the president or other official normally protected by the Secret Service isn't in attendance at the time…”

Forgive me if I am a bit confused here. What the fuck are you being arrested for? If the holy political pooba isn't even present, what crime have you committed? Prior to this you could be detained and arrested for trespassing, and this makes some sense. but now, according to the National Patriot Act, an innocent citizen is subject to arrest and detention just be being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It all depends on what the SS (Secret Service) defines as 'restricted area', and what they mindread as 'willful'.

Get this, under this provision, if you walk down a street, in which there WILL BE, an appearance by a political figure, sometime in the future, you can be arrested. Your action threatens no one, because the political jerkoff isn't even present.

Wait..wait there's more....God help you if you happen to be wearing an article of clothing unapproved by the ruling junta as you stroll down the American street.

US activist arrested for anti-war shirt February 1, 2006 - 4:10PM “Activist Cindy Sheehan was arrested in the House of Representatives chamber shortly before President George W Bush gave his State of the Union address because she refused to cover up an anti-war slogan on her shirt…” “…Schneider (Capitol Police Sgt Kimberly Schneider) said Sheehan was arrested because she was wearing a T-shirt with an anti-war slogan and refused to cover it up. She said the unlawful conduct charge carries a maximum sentence of one year in jail…”

So, it is now illegal to wear a t-shirt with an Anti-war slogan?
To further clarify, you can also be arrested for wearing a t-shirt at an event, even if the tyrant is not present....for wearing a t-shirt!! A FUCKING T-SHIRT! Not an AK-47, or hand grenades, or even a large stick...your wearing a fucking T-shirt!!

I shudder at the absolute horror of these facts. An American, engaged in a lawful assembly, with a valid ticket to attend, wears a t-shirt that has a political message unapproved by the ruling junta and she is arrested and could spend a year in jail. If this single event doesen’t scream FASCIST TYRANNY I don’t know what does.

Do you think anyone in the news media will report this severe abrogation of Constitutional Rights? There will only be silence on this issue. The press will sit quietly and do what it is told. Do you think the so called opposition party, Democrats, will raise up in protest, not a chance, they folded their opposition status a long time ago. Even the great white hope of Democrats, Hillary, is reduced to helplessly sitting in the audience and making faces.

I seriously doubt there
will be another election in this country that anyone could label fair and honest. Bush and his cutthroats stole the elections in 2000 and 2004, why would they allow the next one to be any different? Bush and his ilk have gained supreme power: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial.

There is no more America.

There is no more Constitution.

There is no more Bill of Rights.

WE are well and truly a subjugated people.

How can you call this a free democracy when citizens can be arrested for wearing an unapproved t-shirt! No, no, lets face the reality here, this is not a case of frivolous hysteria of the left, or even a modest claim to national security. This is an in-your-face demonstration of absolute power!

It is no longer a case of hoping to retain a democracy, it is now a case where we are prisoners in our own country. Without rights, without justice, without hope. Reduced to writing scathing words that only resonate to others of like mind, and do nothing to frighten the colosses that squats and wipes himself on the U.S. Bill of Rights.

If you think this is too extreme, try wearing a simple shirt, bearing a slogan, un-approved by the party and walking down a street in your own home town, without permission.
