WORST PRESIDENT OF ALL TIME.

A man enters a bar and orders a drink. The bar has a robot bartender.

The robot serves him a perfectly prepared cocktail, and then asks
him, "What's your IQ?" The man replies "150" and the robot proceeds
to make conversation about global warming factors, quantum physics
and spirituality, biomimicry, environmental interconnectedness,
string theory, nano-technology, and sexual proclivities

The customer is very impressed and thinks, "This is really cool." He
decides to test the robot. He walks out of the bar, turns around, and
comes back in for another drink. Again, the robot serves him the
perfectly prepared drink and asks him, "What's your IQ?"

The man responds, "about a 100."

Immediately the robot starts talking, but this time, about football,
NASCAR, baseball, cars, beer, guns, and breasts.

Really impressed, the man leaves the bar and decides to give the
robot one more test. He heads out and returns, the robot serves him
and asks, "What's your IQ?"

The man replies, "Er, 50, I think."

And the robot says... real slowly... "So............... ya ...
gonna ... vote .... for .. Bush .... again???"

So, where does this end? Right now you claim to use it on 'Terrorists'. Who gets to define what a 'Terrorist' is? According to the Patriot Act, a ' terrorist' can be anyone who commits a crime against the Government. Block a street or ally during a protest against U.S. Government actions and you could be labeled a 'terrorist'. Disagree with the government and you go to jail? Just in case you were thinking of commiting a crime?

There is some belief that the American people are the most gullible on the face of the earth. There is some validity to this claim. If Americans are not gullible, then they are certainly the most manipulated people around. Those that aren’t manipulated are foolish and naïve. We are a nation of Sheeple that has utterly bought into the belief system that in order to be happy we must have the latest stuff, electronic, vehicular, clothing, and jewelry, whatever. To be happy we need a need a Beemer, a 54-inch Flat Screen Plasma Television, diamonds, xbox 360, and a house that could hold a Guatemalan family of 24 in spacious comfort. Each day million of advertisements vomit forth, spreading insidious lies and distortions inducing Americans to spend, spend, spend. Saving money for a rainy day or for future purchases is an anathema. Americans are frantically pulling forth the financial worth of their homes to spend on toys, vacations, and geegaws that are obsolete before they even get home. The status of Americans has nothing to do with their value as humans beings, but only their acquisition of toys.

Are we so shallow a people that the acquisition of toys is more important than being loved and giving love? Apparently. Look at Christmas. What should be a deeply meaningful and solumn religious occasion is an insane stampede toward comsumerism and rampant greed.

Not only are Americans clueless about how manipulated they are, they are also the largest lab rat population in the world. Both in terms of outright numbers and waist size. We have this child like belief that our Government wouldn’t hurt us. This belief, utterly without foundation, that the Government of United States would never knowingly harm its own citizens.

What a simple-minded belief.

What a mistake.

The United States Government, under both republican and demo-publicans, have been poisoning and killing its own citizens for decades. Ask the “Down winders”, those Utah residents that were poisoned by nuclear testing in the 1950’s, and a little problem that the federal government kept secret from everyone for years. Even when people started dying, the Fed’s kept quiet. It has never stopped.

Right now, our troops in Iraq and other places are being sickened and poisoned by Depleted Uranium Shells. Our own troops have been poisoned and some killed by the actions of the Unites States Government. But beyond those who serve in our military, are those average ordinary citizens who did NOT volunteer for hazardous duty. Surely the U.S. Government wouldn't hurt little old ladies and children? Bet me. The U.S. Government will kill you where you stand if they thought it would make a profit for U.S. Corporations.

Right now, in your kitchen are poisons and nasty substances that the rest of the world has shunned, such as Genetically modified food, herbicides, pesticides, and more medication per family than most villages have for all. The rest of the world has determined that poisoning yourself is a bad idea and have rejected American efforts to force them to use various toxins and poisons in their daily lives. In contrast, The Citizens of the United States are systematically poisoned by the U.S. Corporations who place profit over the lives of their own consumers. And the United States Government is in full compliance with this treachery. The FDA stands for Flagrantly Diseased America.

Fact: The United States Government approves of the continued use of Methyl Bromide, which has been banned by the rest of the world due to its highly toxic impact on human nervous systems. In fact, the U.S. Government has signed treaty’s stating it would not approve the use of Methyl Bromide in other countries. But when it comes to the lives of Americans, the Federal Government, a collection of agencies wholly owned by Corporate America, couldn’t care less.

Americans wander the streets of this country absolutely oblivious to the treachery and betrayal of the U.S. Federal Government in collusion with Corporate America.
The Federal Government is not benign, it is your enemy. But, to be fair, this is not true of the career bureaucrats who populate the Governmental agencies. It is in fact the result of vapid and notoriously greedy politicians who set the priorities for the Federal Government. Politicians owned to the jockstrap by Corporate America.

Judge halts No Child Left Behind suit

Teachers' union, school districts say funding unfair

Chief US District Judge Bernard A. Friedman, based in eastern Michigan, said, ''Congress has appropriated significant funding" and has the power to require states to set educational standards in exchange for federal money..."

Thanksgiving 2005

Maybe it is important, every now and then, to actively question that which we take for granted.

All of us are victims of our culture. Things that we believe are true and honest, are in fact lies and distortions. I'm not saying that we shouldn't celebrate holidays like Thanksgiving, I am just saying that we should do so mindfully.

Whenever we participate, even indirectly, in violence and genocide, we are tarred by that brush. We are beneficiaries, at least those of us born to caucasion parents, of the expolitation of people of color. We are beneficiaries, at least those of us born as Americans, of the exploitation of other nations. Face it, for all the good that is the United States, our history and our present in bathed in the blood of innocent people.

Americans are kind, generous, often compassionate people, but we owe our present power and standard of living to the genocide of Native Americans; to the usurpation of land and wealth and natural resources of other lands and people.

Maybe this Thanksgiving, while celebrating with our friends and families, somewhere in the festivities, we could pause and ask forgiveness of all those other people we have harmed.

Ask for forgiveness from the Potawatomi, Lakota, Nes Perce, Cheyenne, Cherokee, Aliut, Koniag, Delaware, Zulu, Yoruba, Edo Benin, Mexican, Hawaiian, Guatamalan, Iraqi and all of the rest.

Honor them with your food and festivities. Honor their memory and all that they sacrificed so that you can be here today, in America, with generous helping of food and warm homes, and good clothing and rich lives.

These three articles encapsulate the reality of Republican America. It really is class warfare, pure and simple. The wealthy make the rules and steal all the profits. The rest of America must be content with table scraps.

Legislation after legislation is being passed by Republicans, with the spineless groveling assistance of Democrats, that take away not only economic progress, but the very rights guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution.

Right now, today, Americans are facing less opportunity, less chance for advancement, less hope for a better life, less chance of their children doing better than their parents, and less hope for a comfortable retirement than ever in the modern age. WE are return to the days of feudal serfdom.

Let’s take GM just for a brutal example. GM failed not because the workers were lazy or incompetent, GM failed because Management completely misread the coming changes, building monster SUV’s instead of smaller more efficient vehicles. Management blundered in producing designs that failed in the marketplace. So who is punished? The workers. Not Management. Instead the top people receive huge raises and compensation.

The Media will then follow their master’s lead and gloss over the utter failure of management and parrot the endless litany of “it’s all wonderful, buy buy buy…”

Additionally, there are thousands of people, perhaps millions, that are now unemployed in this country because we do not have universal health care. The politicians and the Republicans, and the wealthy, have conspired to push health care onto the backs of the American people, so that they can eek out a few more pennies of profit.

There is a massacre going on right now in this Country. It is a massacre of the American people by its own government and by the wealthy elite who run this country. They are killing every man, woman and child in this country so that the elite can make more money and gain more power. We have one of the worst storms in world history and three months later the U.S. Government is already backing out of agreements to help its own people. Additionally, just as millions of Americans are losing their jobs, their own government begins cutting unemployment support they now desperately need. There is no “us” in the U.S. There are now only serfs and feudal lords.

The Government of the United States is not only not our government, it is in fact our enemy.

Private affluence and public squalor

Poverty is bad enough, but when you have the wealthy out to make you more poor, then it truly is a stacked deck. The one definitive thing that can be said for Bush, his neocon ilk and the conservative christian right is that they have made America a land of entitlement and class warfare. They have taken the basic belief that we are "all Americans" and turned that into, "Those of you who agree with us, will get to share the spoils...those that don't can starve."

I'm sure that is what Mr. Jefferson and all of those others had in mind....

The concept that man is made in the 'image of God', is ludicrous. Absolutly wrong. Look at the physiological components of a Human Being and you will easily see that we are the product of this world. We are shaped by gravity, by a specific combination of gases in our atmosphere, by the chemical properties of this planet. Our blood has nearly the same salt composition as sea water and, just like the earth, we are also mostly water.

This is a little piece of news I plucked off the 'Blogs for Bush' web site. If you wonder how in the world the right wing Sheeple can believe what they believe, just read of few of these gems.

This one, in particular, caught my attention. This goon claims that White Phosphorus is NOT a chemical weapon.

White Phosphorus is not a chemical weapon?

This is the type of bullshit republicans read and listen to. Anyone who believes White Phosphorus is not a chemical weapon has never seen ‘willie peter’ in action. I have. The effects of this highly corrosive stuff are spectacular in its cruelty. It literally will melt the flesh of a human being. Place a WP grenade on an engine block and it will melt completely through it. I saw soldiers get hit with WP in Vietnam. They were in absolute agony. The Medic would dunk their arms or legs under water and that would stop the burning, but when the limb was taken out of the water, the WP just re-ignited. It was horrible.

WP is an insanely vicious killer in a pantheon of insanely vicious war toys.

The Mark Noonan who wrote the above article is a liar and a republican….oh wait, those are the same thing. Noonan could never have served in a war where WP was used and profess such extreme ignorance. But this is typical of the right; they have become a radical splinter element of American Politics that has captured far more power than real public support. They lead, not with wisdom and truth, but with manipulations of the press and all news media.

Wal-Mart has EVERYTHING!

One day, in line at the company cafeteria, Joe says to Mike behind him, "My elbow hurts like hell. I guess I'd better see a doctor."

"Listen, you don't have to spend that kind of money," Mike replies. "There's a diagnostic computer down at Wal-Mart. Just give it a urine sample and the computer will tell you what's wrong and what to do about it. It takes ten seconds and costs ten dollars . . . A lot cheaper than a doctor."

So, Joe deposits a urine sample in a small jar and takes it to Wal-Mart. He deposits ten dollars, and the computer lights up and asks for the urine sample. He pours the sample into the slot and waits.

Ten seconds later, the computer ejects a printout:

"You have tennis elbow. Soak your arm in warm water and avoid heavy activity. It will improve in two weeks. Thank you for shopping @ Wal-Mart."

That evening, while thinking how amazing this new technology was, Joe began wondering if the computer could be fooled. He mixed some tap water, a stool sample from his dog, urine samples from his wife and daughter, and a sperm sample for good measure. Joe hurries back to Wal-Mart, eager to check the results.

He deposits ten dollars, pours in his concoction, and awaits the results. The computer prints the following:

1. Your tap water is too hard. Get a water softener. (Aisle 9)

2. Your dog has ringworm. Bathe him with anti-fungal shampoo. (Aisle 7)

3. Your daughter has a cocaine habit. Get her into rehab.

4. Your wife is pregnant. Twins. They aren't yours. Get a lawyer.

5. If you don't stop playing with yourself, your elbow will never get better!

The FBI can, as anytime and for any reason, access all information about you and there is no guarantee of privacy from search and seizure of your records. A ‘National Security Letter” is all that is required to access every bit of your personal data.

They receive no review after the fact by the Justice Department or Congress. The executive branch maintains only statistics, which are incomplete and confined to classified reports. But there is one further aspect to this that is particularly chilling,

Not only has Bush approved that your personal information can be gathered by the FBI, without your knowledge, and with no justification what so ever, it can also be shared with ‘Private Sector Entities”. Who are these “private sector entities”? My guess is…geez, I don’t know. But think about the power of banks and financial institutions over our lives. Bush and the NeoCons are all about control, and what better way to control someone than by limiting their financial options, or their employment. What better way to silence a critic than by making it impossible to get a loan? What kind of leverage will the Republican Party have over you if they can inform your employer about your activities?

What does it take to get you investigated by the FBI? A letter to the editor, a phone call, an inadvertent statement in public, an organization you support, or even a friend of yours who said or wrote something that disagrees with the Bush Cabal are all reasons. Maybe you voted wrong; maybe you are the wrong faith, the wrong color, and the wrong nationality. Maybe you part your hair wrong.

I have no doubt I am on this list. I have no doubt I am part of an investigation due to this website and my activities in public. I have a friend who I admire very much who happens to be Iranian. I have marched in peace rally’s and have openly opposed all of Bush’s edicts. I have order religious proselytizers from my door. I stuck a sign in my front yard that said, “Impeach Bush”. My disagreement with tyranny is subject to suspicion by the Bush Gestapo.

You think we live in a free country? This is not freedom: this is rampant tyranny! There are riots in France because of bitter discrimination and an absolute lack of hope among young minority people. Where the hell are the riots in this country? Where the hell are the protests? Where the hell are these “patriotic” Americans who claim to love Democracy, their country, and freedom? They are cowering under the verbal abuse of their Christian leadership. They are covering their own eyes just so they won’t read about what has happened to this country. They are braying about the idiocy of “intelligent design”, complaining about too much sex on TV, Reading their Bible of lies and praying for Armageddon. They are raging against “liberals” and “Islam”.

Whoever support Bush and his ideological crusades against Democracy is a traitor to the ideals of this country. They are not our fellow citizens, they are mindless sheeple being led to slaughter and taking the rest of us with them.

Oppose Bush with every fiber of your being. Stand up and get into the streets to protest. Write letters. Demand your Congressman defend America. Take back the system that has been stolen by these thugs.

and, to you FBI guys and girls, I hope someday you will review your duty and ask yourself, who'se purpose did I serve? Duty to country is a sacred honor, but blind obedience to orders is antithetical to every tenet of America.

What is 'business' for?

The "New" America...a place where the rank and file, the workers, the blue collar men and women are blamed for the business disasters of GM. Republicans would have you believe that the financial crisis of the auto industry is the result of bloated wages and benefits to the workers.

The reality is that GM and the entire American Auto Industry is a victim of their own greed and blindness. Any fool that bothered to look could tell that giant Hummers, SUV's, and 4x4 Trucks were a dead end. CEO's that have recieved millions of dollars in pay and compensation were responsible for stupid decesions that have bankrupt the industry. Instead of understanding that cheap energy is a finite resource, they engaged in mutual masturbation to see who could produce the most massive vehicle. The workers just build them, it is the managers that decide what gets built, and what is offered to the customer.

There is another reality, strong unions in the auto industry are directly responsible for pulling blue collar workers into the Middle Class. Strong Unions forced managment to provide a living wage, health care, and pensions for Americans. Look at what the existence of a strong middle class has done for America, a national standard of living that was the envy of the world.

But, their is reality that is destroying everything that was good about American. This truth is absolute Capitalism. Capitalism dictates that profit is the only truth, and that anything that lowers profit is bad. Capitalism demands expoloitation. The ascedency of absolute Capitalism has created a divergence. A divergence based on what "Employment" means and what is the responsibilty of 'Business'. To the Capitalistic Oligarch it is wealth for the the top and scraps for the workers. Under absolute Capitalism business managment has no responsibilty to the employees in any way. It is a belief that profit is the sole reason for business and that pay given to employees is really a nuisance 'expense' that needs to be reduced as much as possible, just like other expenses, lights, heating, supplies, building maintenence.

Further, "Business" to the Capitalistic Oligarch is about class; there is the 'ruling class' and there is the 'worker class'.

On the other hand, there are those that believe the Employee is a vital part of the whole business construct. It is a belief that the employee is just as important as the top boss. It is a belief that both employee and management are engaged in an enterprise that should be mutally rewarding and that everybody who contributes to the success of a company deserves to recieve just compensation for their effort. It is a believe that the purpose of Business is to provide a living for all people employed therein. It is a belief that human beings are more important than widgets, and that building and selling widgets is really secondary to providing a living to human beings. It is a belief that benefits such as health care, pensions, day care are part of the obligation of business and are a right of employees to recieve. It is a belief that there is nothing wrong with profit that is shared in equitable fashion. The blue collar guy may not get the compensation the CEO recieves, but he or she still recieves a wage and benefits that allow for life satisfaction and a reasonably comfortable standard of living.

Basically, what is boils down to this this: Is the individual more important than the Community of Individuals?

Final Notice

I just recieved a notice from the National Rifle Association of America urging me to join. In fact, the letter reminded me that this is my 'final notice' as the Second Amendment is on its last legs and we must do everything we can to keep it from disappearing.

What?

What fucking planet do these people live on?

The Second Amendment is as close to Bush and his necrophiliac band of torturers and sado-maschistic dog thieves as the bible is, and I feel pretty sure both are safe from encroachment.

So, let me make this clear, I would never join a twisted and misbegotten organization such as yours. You people are insane and as far away from being American as it is possible to be. What you stand for is nothing short of perverse criminality thinly disguised as ‘patriotic’ bullshit. Your idea of freedom isn’t about fairness or honesty, truth or justice, equality or egalitarianism, it is about hatred, bigotry and the ability to murder at will.

You actually support the open sale of 50.cal rifles, without any form of register or background check! So when a terrorist or deranged gun nut buys one and then opens fire on an airliner, you'all can run and hide behind the Constitution and Bill of Rights. What a pathetic bunch of losers!

Since you don't understand this , let me make it clear: Owning a weapon is about responsibilty and ACCOUNTABILTY. Freedom isn't a burger king where you can "have it your way", it is about accountablity to others. It is not accountable to advocate a weapon of massive killing power as available to just anyone on the street.

To believe that a 50.cal weapon or an automatic weapon is necessary for hunting is to believe Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden are soulmates.

Both of these 'beliefs' are founded on lies and distortions.

Democracy in America

Ultimately, the longevity and viability of Democracy rests on a single factor, a fair and impartial counting of our election votes. The only real power the people of this country have resides in the power of the vote. With it, we can nominally control politics and politicians, and direct them to work in our best interests.

Without a fair and impartial counting of our votes there is no possibility for a peaceful change of power. Without the vote we have no importance what so ever in the political process and no voice in the direction of our own country. Without the threat of being voted out of office, the politician has nothing to fear from the voter and any obligation to even lend tacit support to their needs is gone.

Think about this. Read the blogsphere. Look at the results of national elections in 2000 and 2004. One was settled by the U.S. Supreme Court after massive voter fraud in Florida, the second was settled with a victory for Bush after massive voter fraud in Ohio and other states. In neither case was an official full investigation allowed. The main stream press ignored all reports of vote fraud and the topic was quickly buried.

Simply put, these voting irregularities render null and void the process of voting. It isn't who votes and what they vote for that is vital here, it is who counts the votes. It would appear that the Republican Party, namely the Bush Administration control of vote counts will render any legimate democracy as a moot point.

This is not an issue for just Democrates or Independents, this is a fundamental issue that strikes all people in this country. If we cannot depend on the sancitity of our vote, if we cannot depend on our votes being counted correctly, then Democracy is dead.

If we can no longer control our destiny with the vote, and if Democracy no longer exists, what other means do we now have to control our own country?

There are times when it is important, no, I mean mandatory that one speak out against the ruling junta. There are times when it becomes a life and death issue. There are times when the rich and powerful, through their political puppets, move in such a way as to threaten the very existense of the public at large. There are times that the mythology, the skein of normalcy, that covers the eyes of Americans must be ripped aside to see the true face of the evil that controls this country.

Now is such a time.

For all of you who read this, know that we are in the most perilous times of our history. Those who seek to chain us; to martyr us; to manipulate us; to enslave us have gained ultimate power and are moving to use that power. These are not foreigners, these are not Moslem people seeking our destruction. These are our fellow Americans, even Christians, if you would believe their words.

The Cabal of George W. Bush and the evil Dick Cheney have moved within the past five years to smother any hope, any sembelance of Democracy in this country. The gloves have indeed come off.

Consider:

1. We have had two national Presidential Elections in which significant and grievous manipulations of the vote have been recorded. Even the Government Accounting Office, Washington DC has issued a report that significantly questions the validity of the elections results giving George W. Bush the Presidency.
2. We have watched as the wealth of America, the massive budget surplus that was to support American progress, has been stolen from the treasury. This theft, as is true of all theft, was deliberate and premeditated. Billions of dollars have been stolen from the US Treasury.
   
3. America has been hit by a massive attack on September 11, 2001 that killed thousands of innocent Americans. The speculation that George W. Bush and his cabal were directly behind this attack is well researched and documented. At a bare minimum, George W. Bush knew in advance about the 911 attack and did nothing. (Crossing the Rubicon)
4. We have invaded two soverign nations, Afganistan and Iraq, in both cases the rationale for war appears to have been falsified. It appears that the American people, and those few politicians that remain honest, were lied to and manipulated into supporting illegal and unncecessary wars.
5. The American Public is consistently being lied to about the number of deaths for both American military, and Iraq civilians. The death toll is considerably higher that reported by the Bush Admininstration. Consider this, the military, in reporting deaths of military personnel, only report those that actually die on the battle field. Those that die enroute or in the hospital, which is the vast majority of those that die, are not included in Government statistics of KIA.
   
6. The Bush Admininstration is the most secretive and hidden government in American HIstory. Immediately after gaining office, George W. Bush moved to restrict access to all Presidential Papers and information forever. He back dated this Presidential coverage to the REagan Administration. No longer will the American people be able to see what their President is doing. A prime example of this is the the highly secretive Energy Panal of Dick Cheney. Dispite a lawsuit by the GAO of the American Government, Cheney has refused to release any details of this Energy Panal group. The speculated reason? This group documentation showed the planning for the invasion of Iraq, prior to 911.
7. The Bush Administration has moved to reduce, eliminate, roll back every form of environmental regulation on the books. In every single case, the Bush ADministration has advanced the degredation of our soil, water, and air. Further, they have sold the rights to our public domains, such as Yellowstone National Park and all other National Parks to special interests groups and exploiters.
8. The Bush Administration has created a defacto National Religion in Fundamentalist Christianity. This administration has destroyed the boundary between church and state and seeks to create a Theocracy in this country.
9. The Bush Administration has created and passed legislation that in every single case takes away the rights of the individual and gives it to the corporations.
10. The Bush Administration has openly showed its disdain for the well being of American Citizens by its failure in Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
11. The educational system now being used in the United STates is practically guaranteed to reduce this country to third world status. Higher education has become more inaccessible to American Citizens than at any time in modern history.
12. America is now the largest debtor nation in history.
13. For the first time in American History, American Citizens, under the Patriot ACt, can be held without trial, without charges, without legal representation for as long as the government wishes to hold them.
14. America is now considered by most of the civilized world, as the biggest threat to world peace.
15. America has refused to limit or reduced greenhouse gases even though the world scientific consensus is that greenhouse gases contribute to global warming and that global warming is one of the most severe threats ever faced by humanity.

This legislation provides for creation of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Agency (BARDA). BARDA is the secretive governmental agency that is a combination of Big Pharmacy and Big Government.
