(By Todd S. Purdum and Marjorie Connelly The New York Times THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2005 ) "...For the first time, only half of Americans approved of Bush's handling of terrorism, which had been his consistent strength since he scored 90 percent approval ratings in the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. More than 6 in 10 respondents now say that he does not share their priorities for the country, 10 percentage points worse than on the eve of his re-election last fall, while barely half say Bush has strong qualities of leadership, about the same percentage as during the early low-ebb of his presidency in summer 2001..." |
There is hope after all...only took a bungled defense against terrorists killing over 3,000 Americans; a complete failure to bring to justice the man who planned and launched the attack; a long and bloody sacrifice of Americans and innocent Iraq's; complete economic ruin for the country; a placing of the bottom line over the lives of millions of beings due to neglecting the threat of global warming; and the worst fucking disaster in AMerican history!
Who says Conservative Americans are stooopid?
"I ain't been this happy since the legs fell off Nell's hamster..." (Molly Ivins, 9/16/2005)
My thoughts exactly....
