Extinction

Arctic ice shrinking as it feels the heat

Due to the loss of polar ice, the Polar Bear will become extinct. If there is a Creator that keeps track of evil, then the Human Race will have a tough time making amends.

We have lived as if this planet belongs to us and to us alone. We have treated the air, the water, the land, and all of our fellow creatures on this planet as disposable snot rags.

The unbelieveable hubris of humanity, that we are made in the 'image of God', that we are somehow given 'domain over the earth' is at the heart of the horrific damage we have done to this planet, and ultimately, to ourselves. No other creature knowingly and willfully poisons its own nest.

Yeah, we're 'special' all right.
