This may be the start when Americans finally, finally begin to realize that the oil crisis that is looming is really serious.

I get so sick of Americans claiming to have the 'best nation in the world' when Americans don't have a fucking clue what is going around them. Ignorance is epidemic. The rest of the world knows, but not here. Maybe even the so called "Evening News" will broadcast something..if they get the script from the White House.

There is a phrase in the Declaration of Independence, "we the people..". It is put there for specific reasons. The basis for freedom in this or any country is when the PEOPLE take responsibility to safeguard their own liberty, not politicians and political parties. Freedom comes from you and I, it is not a fucking gift given to us by the Government. It is not a hand-me-down. It is not a conditional object. Liberty means that the people of a country decide who runs the government and how the government does its job. The People decide what Government should do or not do.

The very first step for people to take charge of their own country is for them to become educated. To read, to discuss, to understand, to learn what is actually happening.

Ignorance is not an accident, it is a deliberate action.
