Yeah, this is where America is headed. Don’t believe it? Consider the past 5 years:

We have been savagely attacked on 9/11, perhaps with the contrivance of our own Government, or at least the ineffectual fumbling of this same government.

There has been the greatest transfer of wealth from the middle class and poor to the wealthy in U.S. History.

We went from a $3 Trillion budget surplus to the largest deficit in world history.

The Patriot Act, with the full compliance of every segment of our government, reverses the U.S. Bill of Rights.

The United States is in the process of nullifying the "Habeus Corpus", and "Posse Comitatus" laws. The first means that U.S. citizens can be jailed indefinetly without charge, hearing, advice of lawyer, or contact with the outside world. The second means that the U.S. Military can be used against U.S. citizens on U.S. soil.

The corruption of the White House and Republican Party is beyond measure, as just one example of the morally reprehensible conduct of these buffoons, the Vice President of the United States still has financial ties with a private company (Haliburton) and this same company now recieves Billions of dollars of U.S. Taxpayer money on a no-bid contract basis.

The United STates has gone from the largest creditor nation to the largest debtor nation.

The present administration has betrayed the trust of future generations of Americans by bankrupting the entire federal government and allowing the social safety nets that protected young, old, and disabled to disintegrate.

The present administration, shortchanged the levy construction around the city of New Orleans, then when these levies were breached by Hurricanes, the Federal Government ignored the pleas of its own citizens for succor. These Republicans abandoned the helpless and dying as if they were nothing more than foreign citizens.

This administration has abrogated every existing international treaty that maintains stability in this world. Then declared that the U.S. can unilaterally attack any country it choses. Then this administration launched two wars, both of which are still in progress.

This...Ah shit, I just can't go on.

This fucking Republican Christian group of sadistic assholes is the worst of all time. Period.

For those of you morons that still vote republican well, don’t worry your precious little minds dears, just march into the showers, drink the coolaid, and shut up.

The Washington Post reports today:
The White House is considering expanding the power of a little-known Pentagon agency called the Counterintelligence Field Activity, or CIFA, which was created three years ago. The proposal, made by a presidential commission, would transform CIFA from an office that coordinates Pentagon security efforts—including protecting military facilities from attack—to one that also has authority to investigate crimes within the United States such as treason, foreign or terrorist sabotage or even economic espionage.

The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition, defines treason as follows:
Violation of allegiance toward one’s country or sovereign, especially the betrayal of one’s country by waging war against it or by consciously and purposely acting to aid its enemies.

If we are to believe this news item, the freshly minted and tasked CIFA will investigate people with questionable “allegiance” to the Bush administration. Princeton University’s WordNet defines allegiance as “the loyalty that citizens owe to their country (or subjects to their sovereign)” and a synonym is fealty, defined as fidelity owed by a vassal to a feudal lord..."
